The Pee Dee Market,
located on Highway 52 between Darlington and Florence near I-95,
offers producers a market and consumers a ready source of fresh fruits
and vegetables. The Market includes a 45,000-square-foot,
drive-through farmer retail building, and shade cloth area, and a
century old barn for South Carolina artisans. Well-known throughout
the southeast, the Pee Dee Market has an abundance of plants and
flowers as well as quality produce. Several private horticulture

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Youth United
is a coalition of
inter-faith youth membership with a shared mission: to help each other
build a stronger community. Youth United is currently aiding Habitat
for Humanity by constructing a home on North Dargan Street. Houses of
Worship participating in the Youth United Initiative include: St.
Anthony Catholic, St. Ann’s Catholic, First Presbyterian, Central
United Methodist, St. Paul United Methodist, Highland Park United
Methodist, Temple Beth Israel, Maxwell Baptist and Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints. Any individuals looking to help, any
church wanting to join, or any business willing to participate (donate
