8:30 AM until 1:00 PM

Lunch is served from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon

The Emergency Food Pantry is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM

What is the Manna House?
The Manna House is a soup kitchen  that provides a hot lunch five days a week and an emergency food bank.

The Manna House has been in operation since 1992. Manna House is located at 450 Jarrott Street, on the corner of Oak and Jarrott.

Directions:
From Palmetto Street: Jarrott Street is east of Irby Street, near McLeod Hospital. Coming From Irby turn right onto Jarrott Street at the Kentucky Fried Chicken. The Manna House is 2 blocks down on your left.

From National Cemetery Road: On National Cemetery Road cross Church Street going east. Jarrott is the first street on your left.  The Manna House is three blocks up on your right.

Anyone who needs a hot meal is welcome to eat with us. We can now seat more than one hundred people at a time.
 

Food List

These items can be delivered to the Manna House between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM Monday through Friday. If you are unable to deliver the food at this time, please call 667-6077 to make arrangements for pick-up or another delivery time.

The Manna House Needs

YOUR Time and Talent!

  • To volunteer to assist in preparing and serving meals
  • To help pick up donations from individuals and stores
  • To organize food drives where you work, play, or worship
  • To recruit volunteers from your  church, organization, or club
  • To help with administration

and

YOUR Monetary Contributions!

  • For foods and supplies not donated, such as milk, meats, and bread  (~19% of our budget)
  • For utilities - electricity, gas, and water    (~16% of our budget)
  • For employees' salaries and taxes    (~50% of our budget)
  • For maintenance of our building and equipment  (~6% of our budget)
  • For administrative expenses  (~9% of our budget)
